Zahara began paving her own path early in her life. As a young Filipino-Indian girl living in the Mission, there were no obvious role models or established paths to follow. She learned to create her own path, and imagine her own road to success. This independent spirit has driven her to pursue a career as a software engineer, and encourage other young women to do the same.
