Maritza joined the Maisin Scholar Award first in 2012 as an intern, and then as the full-time Education Advisor in October of 2013. She works with our scholars who attend community colleges and vocational trade institutions. Maritza has a Bachelor of Psychology from San Francisco State University. Since Maritza started as a community college student herself before transferring, she enjoys guiding our scholars through the community college system. As a former Maisin Scholar (Class of 2007), she enjoys giving back to the program that changed her life. In her free time, Maritza enjoys spending time with family and friends.
