Our 2013 Maisin Scholars attended the On Our Way Summer Institute on Saturday, June 29, at UC Berkeley. Students attended informative workshops about scheduling classes, creating education plans and navigating financial aid issues. The 500 attendees also participated in networking and team-building activities and enjoyed hearing from current college students during the student panel session. This one-day college transition event for college-bound seniors was organized by the Bay Area College Success Network, Beyond 12 and the West Contra Costa Public Education Fund.
